If you currently feed grain twice a day pound per feed for 4 feeds so at the end of the day he still gets the exact same amount of grain and you! I say once or twice.....
It would depened on how much you are feeding your horse.

I am around 1200-1400 cal per day (good cal most of them except for the 2-3 slides of black /whole wheat bread).
What is the rigth amount at this point? After about 1.5 years post op or later?
