LO is starting daycare in July and I was thinking of starting daycare a week before so we can both adjust, mainly me because I'll be an emotional wreck.
Is a week enough time you think? I'm worried she might get sick for the first time if I start too ...

We started out with family and my husband taking care of DD before starting daycare.
I will say at the end of her first week she had a cold that's now an ear infection .

I feel like in a daycare sometimes the teacher / child ratio is off a bit.
Although my son is not yet in daycare that it's more personal.
More flexibility with hours - if you need a later day, etc.

So I am not 100% sure when I am going to be ready to go back to working but I'm shooting for sometime in the fall. We have enough saved that I could wait or that if I don't find a job right away we are fine. But I'm stressing out already about childcare...

That is why it's important to choose a daycare that is conducive and physical health of your child for 40+ hours a week and say they do not help raise them.
Waking hours than their parents.
