Is this normal? Or do most dealers check out the car first before taking it as trade?

. I was hoping it would sell anyway.
I wouldn't feel so bad trading it in to a dealer tight-lipped
for months.

Quick question - If I wanted to move on a new Wrangler, would a dealer right me a check for my
trade instead of knocking $ off the final price? THen, I would finance the total price.
* of the trade-in and the new car; thus, if the dealer gives you cash, you now have to pay full sales tax

traded in a car over 3 weeks ago and got my 335 and find out today they still have not paid my car
the bank to notify them and they acted like it was between me and the dealer
wtf?

Price for your trade. Carmax is good with these; they always give you more than any dealer in town

than 1-2 years. I hate selling the car privately and Im only looking to trade it in. Will I be looking

I'm not sure my subject is entirely accurate.. what I'm trying to figure out is what does a dealer
generally "charge" for allowing you to trade-in a car at the time you start a new lease with them
