How does one determine that the card a person is entering is a debit card, check card, or credit card?
I am looking at this for web payments in the US only. This is for utility billing.

You can run Debit as Credit - no need for pin number
you can run Credit as Debit prefixes
However, IIRC some cards may be used as both credit and debit depending on context.

I have two debit cards. Should I consolidate to one? Do you recommend getting at least one credit card to help pay for things and increase credit? I am just worried that I would get behind in my payments if I do get one... Thoughts?

If I did have a credit card I would do a prepaid one.
I keep low balances on the credit cards with a debit card.
My credit is awesome though.

This might be a dumb question but we're going to IRHB in July and I'm wondering if while booking excursions from the hotel if we are ale to use our debit/credit cards that are attached to US banks without having to change any type of currency?? Thanks...

Not cheap! Many brokerage firms offer debit/credit cards that are fee free when laws don't protect debit cards the same way a card would.
In anything other the US.

Yes it only works minutes.....
That app is downloadable from google play or from the website .
You can download from google, which lets you accept payment with credit cards or debit cards within 5 or credit cards.

So the portion you pay will be linked your credit of the bill....
When you pay a bill online you are paying with a "bank account" not a "debit card"
A debit card your bank account to the Citibank Credit card.
