Is US Social Security Doomed?
The needed correction to SS is actually very minor and simular corrections have been made before, its just that whoever pushes for it risks losing elections. The real problem is in Medicare and Medicaid because Healthcare costs are rising much faster than inflation, but really thats a problem for the whole society not just government spending.

How much undergrad debt is too much?
Why don't you look at small liberal arts colleges that aren't particularly famous for philosophy, but are solid all-around liberal arts in general? If you have a good GPA, you might score a really great scholarship. There are so very many small schools out there begging for great, motivated students while the "big name" schools get more than they can handle.

How much debt do you have and how fast are you paying it off?
My issue with Ramsey is he doesn't take interest rates into account. As long as you have discipline it makes sense to consider interest rates when paying things off.
