When you restart windows it boots back into OSX.
Just click the Bootchamp on the menu bar - restart into windows .
It saves making changes back and forth.

The final fix was to Install EasyBCD and create a new boot record the master ....
I'm not even sure what made me hit F10 at boot, but when i did, and removed /MININ, the system booted.

This lets you boot the old kernel if you need....
I think yum takes the current one, makes it a second entry, then makes the new kernel the default/first entry.
If you install a new kernel through yum it will appear in your boot list.
