I'm assuming the system is out of warranty.
Here if you do a field retrofit.
The defrost board is a PCBDM130 DEFROST CONTROL BOARD.

Replace the sensor and defrost board.
If nothing happens.
And the test pins are shunted, the board should "speed up" the timer and initiate a defrost cycle into the board.

I have a York heat pump system and I believe my demand defrost is not working properly. When the defrost cycle is working, the air out of the registers in my house drops to around 50F. The defrost cycle runs about 7 minutes and never seems to quite remove...

Many times you are only getting part of the heat elements working and when having to "outrun" the defrost during defrost.
This is not a DiY board so most will simply recommend you get a pro to check out.

This morning I was experiencing severe signal loss across the fm band while using my rear defroster in a 2010 3.6r. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Is it due to the antenna in glass design?

The dealer can usually repair it with a special "paint" for the defroster grid (you can also probably get it at autozone).
I think this happens usually when one of the defroster lines has been broken.

My rear defroster is not working, but i know why. My problem is that i'm not exactly sure how to fix it. The connector that supplies the power to the grid has become detached from the window. If i glue the corner of the connector back to the window, will...

The only problem is the air never shuts off from the vent and the defrost air flow is almost non existent.
Move the selector from vent to floor or defrost and internal components do open and close (I can hear them).
