Ran service test mode 1 which I assume energizes defrost circuit - defroster works during test but as soon as I leave test mode no more defrost - does this mean the control board is bad - everything else seems to work fine.

My Kenmore freezer will not defrost on it's own. I replaced the control board, replaced the thermostat and tested the heating element. Any other ideas? I can't figure out what's wrong. Thanks!

This stuff ain't Rocket Science, you know/RUUD heat pumps to energize the strips when it
goes into defrost.
D is the Defrost terminal.
P is the Positive terminal.
