Is there a limit to the amount of delay compensation that the software can or will apply through the feed back loop?

Term here, since it refers to compensation for a plugin's internal latency and has nothing to do to compensate for the delay or try automating the volume control and not use GGain.

Hey all I've got a session here that is having some weird issues with delay compensation. Im set to use the max number of samples. The track with the largest amount of delay is 7000 samples or so...not nearly the limit of 16k.
We are experiencing audio...

Just recently bought a Blofeld and when I set it up in Ableton I have to have a delay compensation of 43ms WTF. Has any body got a way to get it smaller. Oh and I just have the Blofeld running from blofeld to effects unit to sound card and the sound card...
