Besides, once it "fills up", it won't record anything much of an immediate benefit is to only allow her to record shows in basic quality.
Ahead and delete one of the series to make room.

Just noticed that when I delete the last recording within a group you are no longer taken out to the list of recordings the deleted recording still shows but it is actually deleted....hitting return takes you back to the recordings list and the group ...

I have had many strange recording problems recently and I am wondering if my problem might have been a corrupted "Scheduled Recordings" list because deleting everything in the schedule, and re-reserving them, seems to have fixed it.

Earlier this evening, our UPC box suddenly went off, then came back on again but showed the Set up screen, Ireland, then asked for the Activation code. All looked okay then but when we checked the DVR, all our recordings had been deleted!!

I gotta be missing something very simple. When I delete a part of a recording (with only one track) in GarageBand and export it to iTunes, the length of the recording stays the same, so I end up with silent sections at the end.

Well, a couple of things
First, if you delete a portion at the end of a track, drag the bottom recorded material.

All of my recent recordings refuse to play back without stopping several times. The point at which they stop is different for each recording but is reproducible so it must be something in the recording rather than a time based thing. The only way ...

The glitches seem to come and go as last nights recordings to the remote and recordings....
One solution is to not delete any recordings with this type of error; just file that time (apart from maybe 20 or 30 hours).
