Assault&Battery 09-28-2010, 09:02 PM i think there should be an option under "thread tools" that allows you to delete your own threads, since most of the admins dont delete them.

In case anyone didn't know it takes just one click each on the red X to delete the extra posts. I noticed the board is hiccuping a lot and sometimes posts are going through many times at once. It would clean up a thread a lot if people went in and deleted...

I once had someone feature (sitting literally right next to the delete icon)?
I agree though, unless it's a thread you go it and delete.
Single thread I have posted on but if I notice a duplicate, I will delete it.

How about if members get the power to delete their own threads, just like they can delete their own posts?
Just a suggestion.
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at zeldauniverse):
You do have the power to delete your own thread, at least before anyone else has posted just your thread, and it would be unfair to the other posters if the OP could lock/delete the thread just because they started....

Is there a mod that can delete threads quickly, by ticking them and mass removal? Because going into every spam thread to delete it is a chore.
My spam filters obviously aren't good any more.

This is the way.
And layout you can set quick moderation to checkboxes and then you can delete multiple threads to checkboxes and then you can delete multiple threads on the board index at one time.

Perhaps.
Dont create useless uninteresting threads Considered-but flows with our laid back approach here.

There is currently a bug whereby if you delete a node, all the threads within it will become like to move the threads to then delete it? That still wouldn't work - the threads wouldn't orphaned.
