If you open Device Manager - is the DVD reporting any errors? When you look present on your system? If any are missing try....
I've seen serious problems with CD\DVD ROM drives that have been caused by various file system or unusable.

How can I delete the liberty tool box, I already have the pro version. Every time I delete it, it comes back when I hit reboot. I even deleted it in root explorer. It still comes back. I don't need two tool boxes. I also tried to delete the liberty root...

There's also no way to delete devices that you no longer have from the Android Market website, but you can hide them.
