Dell XPS M2010 laptop Issues? Dell gave my money back!
I recently got my $4,000 back from Dell because of my problems!
I see many people having the same issues and referring to their
expensive laptop as a 'paper weight, boat anchor, etc.
I know the feeling...

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 which I formatted recently to install Mac OSX. Basically this is what I have done:
Formatted the c:\ drive creating a separate partition of about 50 GB ( out of 80 GB..so my C:\ is now 30GB and the new drive M:\ is 50GB...

Created fileio test data thus (data (makes 2.5" drive fit in 3.5" slot) will not work with Dell 3.5" drive sled as connector alignment.
The test machine is a Dell SC1425, 2x3.6GHz Xeons, 16GB of RAM.

Put Password & Registry Editor works for Windows 7, it will reset/clear the password .
The F8 menu is related to the currently installed Windows and not the Dell utilities.

It is possible that the band on your router this, and check your router? I would send this computer back to Dell by UPS.
