I have been lifting heavy for at least 9 weeks straight now and I came to wonder...when do people typically deload or just take a week off from the gym? I did this three months ago for a week and deloaded for better form and it helped me loads.

I find the deload week boring but the week after i am stronger for it so the results are well worth the "boredom" for a week....
I go 3 weeks "on", 1 week light or "off".
Lifting, your recovery times, injuries, etc.

Having just heard Mark Bell himself say that he didn't believe in deloads...I was shocked.

If you are getting the minimum reps then finish the cycle. Do the deload week and let your body adjust.
Nothing wrong with a deload.

Coffee is a maybe.
Coffee is a must.
I'd just drop my training max for a week or two rather than DE-load.

If you've run 12 weeks without deloading so far then you should probably deload. If you've been running it for 3 cycles and have deloaded each cycle then you should just stay on track and try to up your recovery/food intake. Stress/work schedule/being...

Week2
Week3

The deload is a training....
Its designed in a way to help cheat myostatin proteins wich stop you from growing, 8 week cycles are superior to the beating a dead horse 12 week cycles .
And cruise its a 20 week cycle with regular pct .

You have a big fire burning. Every so often you have to feed that fire with more wood (recovery) to keep it burning hot. This works so long as you have wood in reserve. At some point, the fire's dying, and you ran out of wood. What do you do? Realize ...

A week off won't kill anyone, in fact you may end up feeling reinvigorated.
My recovery is shit, so I'm thinking about going.
From a deload and a cold has kicked me on my ass.
