DeSean Jackson vs. Roddy White
Straight up who's better.
2009 Current Stats:
DeSean Jackson - 12 rec., 259 yards, 2 TDs, 21.6 yards/catch
Roddy White - 15 rec., 119 yards, 1 TD, 7.9 yards/catch
Obviously, you know who I voted for. And I really think that DeSean is emerging as a top...
DeSean Jackson is more of a gamebreaker.
I think Roddy White is still a bit better at route running.
Que?
Roddy's a top 10 WR.
You have to go with him as of right now.
DeSean Jackson can excel when some guys make him out to be.

Is DeSean Jackson a 'Number One' Reciever
It seems that to be considered a 'Number One' WR you have to be able to provoke double teams, run every route in the tree, catch every ball etc.
DeSean Jackson is extremely talented, quick as you like, good hands and is only coming into his 3rd year.

Seasons, the same as Calvin Johnson.
DeSean understands how to take a hit, he knows his limitations, much on linebackers because of DeSean Jackson.
DeSean Jackson has the same impact on the game.

I haven't talked to him lately, but I'd say no...? Or not too much if anything.
His advantages are his speed, hands and dropping balls before he crosses into the end zone.
But really, he can't be touched in today's NFL without a flag being thrown.

I like it.
Desean is a BEAST but Dez could be the next T.O! Slaton is going to have minimal....

Megatron or DeSean Jackson?
I'm in a third-year Keeper league (3 keepers). It's a PPR league where we start 3 WR, 2 RB, and a W/R/T flex.
I have Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson as my first two keepers. They're pretty much set in stone.
I also have Calvin Johnson and DeSean Jackson...

Defenses cannot key solely on Johnson.
It's a tough call but I would say Jackson.

Desean's value nose diving?
I have desean jackson in my 12 team non ppr league and i was wondering if i should trade him this year after having such a good year. The consensus that im getting from alot of people is that they believe his year was fluky and that he is more WR2 that...

Reggie Bush is a playmaker
get rid of Desean, NOW.
This is coming from an Eagles fan....trust.
I don't have a lot of faith in DeSean long term but I would not trade him away unless you get, Britt, Laurent, D Thomas
TE: Finley....

Active Q&A Threads
What's with DeSean?
Philly has always been a "spread the wealth" type of offense with the exception of Westbrook. We saw Jackson's numbers decline last year once the Philly WRs got healthy around him. I think a lot of people had unrealistically high expectations for Jackson this year.
Like Colston.

Dexter McCluster the next Desean Jackson?
You mean besides the fact they don't play the same position? In the NFL I see McCluster as a gimmick, good for one or two touches a game on offense. Jackson I thought was a good deep route guy in the pros, and actually excelled in all route running quickly upon entering the league.
Team Keeper.

Start DeSean Jackson?
Hixon also may be getting more passes for the Giants this week with Nicks out. Still, I'd have a hard time benching Jackson for Hixon.
Brandon Marshall.

Too many WR, which ones to start?
Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson are both automatic starters no matter what team. From your roster, I would not start Jerricho Cotchery since you have better players than him, and also I would personally not start DeSean Jackson this week with McNabb out. The thing with Roddy White this season is that Tony Gonzalez will take away some plays from him unlike last season.
Based on all that I would say that you should start Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Vincent Jackson for sure. The 4th one should be between Roddy White and Percy Harvin. That is a very tough decision, and I can't give you the right answer there. My gut feeling is to use Percy Harvin because Minn plays the Lions this week.
Santonio Holmes.

Grant for Colston?
I could be wrong, but based on experience this year with Grant, nobody is going to give up Colston for Grant. Especially if they have been holding him for the past 5 weeks.
