Hi All,
I have upgraded to Amarok 2.5 on Slackware64 -current and Amarok no longer detects my ipod. The ipod is an 80 GB ipod classic. Is ipod support not as good in 2.5, is this a known issue? Has anyone else experienced a regression in ipod support ...

What do I do about this message? I've restored it 3 times, but this message still comes up, and i cannot put music on it now.
iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes...

I think you should have gotten it for free.
I did experience many of the of the issues like device not detected came with the iPod connector.
No problems with the 3rd Gen IPOD.

Hi, running windows 7 64 bit and itunes 9.0.2.25. works well with old ipod and ancient shuffle but new ipod video generates 'can detect but not identify ipod'. On an XP machine the ipod works fine with the latest version of itunes.

The ipod in is that it apears in windows explorer and in the sys tray - but once itunes loads it disapears responded peculiarly after itunes has loaded with the ipod in.
