I have a Detroit 453N, oil pressure is around 40psi at high rpm and at idle about 10psi, is this normal?

That would be on the lower side of normal when metallic/mineral ash/deposits .
A Detroit 2 cycle is easier on bears than a 4 stroke.
To aid starting
Detroit Diesel is adamant and repeat them selves several times all through.

It has been a couple years since i last changed the antifreeze in my 8v92s. I plan to drain the system and replace with new anti freeze but the current coolant in my system is green and the new detroit coolant is pink.

Drain the antifreeze you have, fill the engine....
I would change it ASAP, as with the 92 series O-rings it should be done every 2 years .
I trust him completely.
He did so on my boat after a complete hose replacement .
No problem mixing them.
My DD guy agrees.
