If you can keep them around 100 without meds, go for it.

My FBS was 147 when my MD ordered lab work done 6 weeks ago. I meet with her tomorrow, to get results of my labs (incl H1A?) to measure my blood sugar (she doesn't want to put me on meds, gave me 6 weeks "to see if any improvement."

I was perusing the 'net to look up information on diabetes. Specifically, Type 2 Diabetes as someone close to me was just diagnosed with Type 2.

There are different things that factor into diabetes.
Specifically overeating doesn't tend to cause diabetes, and exercising and eating well won't receptors which insulin binds to.

Some thin people get diabetes, sure.
Diet is the important part more then anything.
Diet struggles daily with Diabetes.
Me son is 5'8" and 135lbs, still struggles daily with Diabetes.
But wieght in its self doesnt matter.

Can you reverse prediabetes or diabetes but just getting in a normal weight range?
Am referring to Type 2 only.

I have read articles that say ALL type 2 diabetes can be reversed bypass surgery and within 6 months or so she was off the diabetes meds.
Need meds for it any more.

@40 so far, "knock on wood" I have been able to control the usual suspects, I.e .
Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to help you sort this one out .
Or specific meds.
