Diabetic Diet

Thanks for that link, its still a lot of information to take in but at least its all in one place. It still seems like a bit of a science project trying to work out amounts etc but I'll not worry too much about that for now. source

My endo does not have diabetes but she specializes in diabetes treatment and so far she has been a great doctor so no complaints there. The diabetes nurse I talk takes care of her T2 diabetic father and several of her family members have T2 diabetes so I actually feel pretty safe as all the information she's given me tallies with what I've read and talk to people online about. source

I'm a type1, i was diagnosed at 11 even though i have no immediate family with diabetes. I am 25 now and about to become a dad this year for the first time and was wondering what the chances them becoming diabetic? source

I have to agree with what everyone has said so for, I have been diabetic for the last 9 years. I started out on metformin and then went to injections twice a day. I do keep track of how many carbohydrates and sugar that I consume everyday. I have also started on meridia which has helped decrease my appetite and to my surprise it has really worked, so I am hoping that this will help with my overall health. source

A couple of useless leaflets about diet Life is full of ups and downs. Appreciate the ups when the occur and deal with the downs. source
