We also never changed her diaper if she did wake up unless it....
So we left her alone.
Do anything to have their baby sleep through the night and unless she wakes her up for a diaper change or to be fed, then leave her alone.

We've tried having her sitting, standing laying down etc.
Lol I'm going to read your replies because dd is the same age and does the SAME thing! We didn't try the buggies pull ups but that's because she just hates being changed no matter what.

When changing your DS's diaper, do you point his penis down? Is it possible? Since it is so small, it just sticks straight up! He has peed through a couple of diapers and this us the only thing I can think we are doing wrong.

Sometimes it makes him mad when I tuck it while putting the new diaper.
And the instructor said it several times! YES! DS is a bit of a "sniper" when it comes to diaper changes, even with pointing his penis down.

So, our LO hates to be dirty. More often than not, she'll wake in the middle of the night and we'll do a diaper change. If she doesn't go back down, we'll give her a bottle, especially if she's been sick (thank you daycare). Our ped told us to NOT give...

I change him overnight.
I have been won't be getting diaper changes so unless he has poo'd there is no need.
We change him too.
Sleeps through nighttime diaper changes so it doesn't bother our routine.

At my church all diaper changes are the parents rules that are a little nutty.
