My cable system doesn't require a box or cablecard for digital channels. Is there a Tivo box that will receive the digital and analog channels? I am assuming the cable company does something on the pole to open the channels up.

Seems like all of my channels will glitch occasionally, but rarely. 2 or 3 (in the HD channels, that is) are almost always very glitchy, to the point of not being watchable. Do you think this is most likely:

Quote channels and too little bandwidth per channel, it's a nationwide epidemic.
The HD channels with weak signals are Animal Planet and Science channel.

Too much of the same crap another to add will be Channel 4 Shuffle.
Universal Networks have the right idea axing Diva TV to focus on other channels and Sky too axing Sky Living Loves.
If Sky never closed the SD launch queue there would probably be 50 ...

For instance, in old CRT TV's you press 4 and you get channel 4..
Digital TV's have a delay on changing channels due to the various ways that cable boxes and HD channels are configured..

Having had my Sony surround sound amp with sky + hd for a few months now, I have got a taste for surround sound so I a disappointed with the lack of surround sound on the bbc.
For me it would of made sense to adopt a sky approach and when shows upgrade...

I can't see any damage to the capacitor - a slight bulge just maybe but I've ordered a few and I'll give it a try .
