You just have to ask yourself if spending an extra $800 .
The Canon EF is not necessary for sports shooting.
Ideally you would want a lens with an ultrasonic motor .
And thus not great for sports.

Moving into a new flat at the end of the month and was wondering what people thought the best provider of Digital TV was.

I've contacted Comcast and of course the idiots hear the underlying digital/electronic sound.

There is a problem with the volume being 'stuck' on the HD get BBC One, BBC HD a ... .
With the few extra HD channels, much better picture through the HDMI (especially if you want to watch some HD sports).
And Setanta HD for the sports ones.
