Cheapest pads/discs for SDI
Hello!...
I've now got my m.o.t with new brake pipes and 2 new tyres at a cost of £110 :/
But my advisory said my brake pads are low, (i know this as the noise indicator is now annoying me :/ )... But where is the cheapest...

ive always worked on the assumtion that a disc will last 2 sets of pads? Hello is now annoying me :/ )...

I think I need new discs and pads allround fro my 2006 GTi, and I'm probably going to stick with OEM as I'm not going any further than Stage 1.

Cheapest place to get Brembo HC front discs & DS2500 pads I have found them on KTec for £202 posted. Not sure if we can get our members discount on kits, anybody know?

discs & DS2500 pads are the "HC" discs not just their OE disc (as compared to their groved "maxRe: Cheapest place to get Brembo HC front discs & DS2500 pads G 172 is your man for Brembo discs.

R33 GTR rear Brembos in red. Complete with nearly new EBC discs & Yellow Stuff pads. Also a straight bolt on for the R32 GTR. £200.

I had the car MOT'd last week and she passed only downside was an advisory on the rear pads and discs wich I knew we're going to come up anyway!

Just as a precaution, i fitted EBC Ultimate discs with D2000 pads about 1500 miles ago and the discs are warped already :/ haven't even driven it that hard If its rears, then standard pads should motorcraft pads will....

Hi friends
really need to replace the front discs on the RS4 now
I bought B7 RS4 discs and bells from the Milkybarkid for 100 quid a year or 2 now ( used) and have had good use from these but now the brake travel is getting too much and the pad light ...

It's better to put new pads on used discs to help bed them in, so don't worryWorn disks/pads shouldnt....
Be down in April so meet up then whether you have the discs or not
dont really want to put new pads with B7 conversion.

What pads and discs?
Need new pads and disks for my 105.
Anyone know where to get good ones from? Not looking for race spec ones or anything fancy just good brakes that will last.
Also is doing brakes on a 1.4 a job that I can do with general car knowledge...

Blueprint make a good disk and pad set are competent to do the....
If you are competent to do the pads then the disks are the less hard part.
Pads you can do yourself, discs it would be more advisable to let a mechanic do them.
