DISH = Pro - HD is bundled with DVRI've had both.
I had a contentious separation from Direct TV, I weaseled my way out of the ridiculous buy out for my contract but still left bad taste for direct TV.

The GUI of Dish is appealing compared to Direct TV and Comcast from what I have seen.

If trees obstruct a direct shot the signal was during a snowstorm when our dish was completely covered by snow and ice.
In Oregon you will also have the dish pointing southward at a low angle.
