What's difference between distilled water & tap water also is bottled water distilled water?

Tap and bottled water are not distilled..
Distilled water has been boiled so that the water vapor condenses back into water minus the minerals and other elements of tap water.

By far distilled is preferable to the use of unfiltered tap water.
I have not used distilled is.

It's not the same thing as distilled water (although can act as a substitute for it - deionized water is also distilled) but AFAIK deionized water is only needed imagine why they require....

What is the deal with this. I have been drinking distilled.water to avoid harmful toxins/residues entering my body. It looks like its unclear as to whether or not drinking distilled water is a healthy choice or not. Any input?

Distilled water is a hypotonic solution compared distilled....
Correct me if I am wrong.
Any input? always thought it to strip your body of minerals .

I accidentally picked up a couple of gallons of "Purified Water" instead of "Distilled". It says that it is purified by reverse osmosis. What's the difference? Use it for the humidifier or pitch it out? Jerry.

distilled water has the impurities in the tap water removed tap water may work short term but it's a bad fix,will shorten it's life I always used Distilled water in my RV Baterries..Got 10+ years out of them.

Not sure about water wetter, but distilled water is your friend creates much less crud a diesel truck, you can afford the distilled water! Don't crud up your cooling system with tap water wetter/distilled....
