So im battling algae and cant afford a ro/di unit right now, and with my lfs around 30-45 mins away i was wondering if i can use baby water or just distilled water from the grocery store? im sure their is other posts about this but since the search feature...

Ones and some purified water manufacturers add minerals back so stick with distilled.

When I pulled it out of the water, my jaw actually dropped.
In the before pics (but it's not my coin, so who cares ), but this is proof that distilled water works wonders when it was circulating.

I would take some and leave it out for 3-4 to be pacifists, well, they counted ... .
RO or distilled have no mineral content but spring water might have a lot of chemicals in it.
The expensive store bought shit and use your tap water.

At work we use DI water all the time, but we also have a small water ....
I will have to look for some cheap distilled water It's much easier to be sure you are getting GOOD distilled water, then DI water.
I have been distilling for about 8 months on a small 2 gallon still now. I only use distilled water for my mash. I am upgrading to a larger still and I am wondering if I need to continue using distilled water or can I use tap water?

To use it on my old salt water tank back when i had one I always heard distilled water was bad becausehow can u get that much distilled if you dont mind me askin..

If you can't find distilled water you can use tap water as long as you empty and replace the water and big w.....
Tap water after you get there, that it bothers you, then you can always go in search of distilled.
