I recommend you call the individual school district to find out what attendance area a particular home is in.

Birthday you can start the process of contacting the school district but it's actually easier to go to EI such as a Regional Center, then your case coordinator will help refer your case to the school district as early as 6....

Are willing to go the club route, you don't need formal support of your school district but it really really of limitation? And they do know the district and schools get paid for having teams compete....
