Diving Holiday or Holiday with diving - discuss!
I have a long standing discussion with my lovely non diving wife . I maintain my liveaboard holidays are diving holidays. When we go away together and I may dive every other day and we spend loads of time...

It's the same for me, liveaboard = diving holiday, month in Malta with Linda = Holiday with ....
Purpose of diving then its a diving holiday.

Having recently (August 2011) become a father, I haven't been able to get any diving in for a while. However, as I am moving jobs in April this year there is an opportunity to have a family holiday, which hopefully will include some diving.

I have a decade birthday coming up in September, and it is the work's shut week at the end of August, so the plan is to take a 2 week-ish holiday doing something special and memorable at that time to celebrate.

With the little one, and quite a bit of Universal will appeal - plus it is a lot of holiday, chuck the bikes on the back, a holiday to remember for significantly lower cost than the US option.

Im off to tenerife in a few weeks with the family and have a 3day pass for a bit of splish splash, i have my stuff that im taking insured with divemaster but am sure some dan type medical insuruance would be smart
i dont think im going on any other overseas...

Are not to sure just get the dive centre you are diving with to take a look or if you prefer to be certain, like us most dive centres offer the daily/weekly policies.

My wife & I will be in Mt Gambier over the Easter holiday for a day or 2 and are interested in diving in the Ewens Ponds. As we are travelling from the UK, it isn't practical to bring our dive gear.

It's now the north east monsoon so diving is not ideal in some areas but is there anywhere else suitable for this few months?

Most east coast dive staff either take holidayI'd normally expect the diving to be fine until at least end Oct, but of course this varies year there, anyone is planning for diving....
The place I dive stays open to 15th Nov.

So having finally got back under water with some easy lazy dives in Ko Tao the other week (though they do have a new wreck which was cool), I dont intend to wait 2.5 years again before the next one.

Rubbish place to dive off the beach - hardly anything to see at all.
Yeah I want to get over to Egypt next September to dive the Thistlegorm, amongst near Watsons Bay.

Only an idiot scuba instructor or dive master would take beginners to dive in the process....
Boatload after boatload of backpackers learning to dive, or diving once certified.
