Do the polls give a correct measurment of what the dnd players want? And if not, how can wizard embrace the people who don't answer these polls?

Firstly, I am disappointed about gaming.
It's evident that 4th edition wasn't what the majority wanted.

Fighting classes own 3.5 fighting classes like nobody's business.
But I'm not buying all new versions, 4th ed.
Sure, I'll give 4th ed.
I have to say I'm not excited one bit.

I'm thinking about starting up a play by post campaign. It would use DnD 3.5 rules, with some modifications inspired by 4e.
I've never participated in a PbP game before, so I have no idea how well it would work, but in various DnD threads I've seen lots...

As such, keep the following in mind while building available in the party .
Campaign-Specific Rules Modifications
There are some changes that 4th Edition made to the game that I feel are beneficial.

As a player of 3rd edition, for me and my group one of the annoyances of mid and high levels to resemble 3rd edition.
Tactically complex combat, how will the new edition support their style of play? What variations have you.

What do you mean by funky feats and abilities to modify it? Personally I really didn't liked 3e meta magic feats if that what you mean .
I don't care as long as the classes are interesting, flavorful, and reasonably balanced .
Poll: None of the Above.

One subject which seems to be raging like wildfire across various threads here on the forums right now is not about the rules of D&D Next , but merely about the way those rules are presented.
It turns out that this is a highly contentious topic. The opinions...
