My four year old male dog has it got him checked he was .2 vet put him on thyrosine give him half soloxine.6 mg once a day to give her and then check her thyroid level monthly to determine if it has.

She gained 8 lbs in two months. She has also been sad all the time.
The doc says we will put her on meds and it will definitely help.
Anyone elses doggie have thyroid problems?

Ahhhh .... another thing to add to the list! Routine bloods a few months ago showed possible thyroid probs. Just had test repeated and GP wants to see me to discuss. Unfortunately away tomorrow until end of next week, so got to wait until 2 weeks tomorrow...
