Dogs lose their hearing the same way people do - old age, hearing a loud noise to damage their ear drums are both ways. ChaCha!

Couldn't differentiate the 14kHz....

My dogs cannot hear higher than 14k so I suspect my computer setup more than my ears....

Yes you MAY be able to hear something with hearing aids BUT most.
To belong properly to the hearing world, you need to be able what it like be Profoundly Deaf.
To hear sounds isn't good enough.
