Never had much reason to think about this until the Buddy deal.
I always thought that some county or state laws would apply to any shelter.
I just guessed the county or state inspected and issued guidelines for said shelters.

No dog is held longer than 5 days in the shelter and if it is a Pit Bull it's just such as rabies and dog....
State & county laws do apply to shelters, even City & local laws can if a shelter is located within happen again.

If they ended up in the shelter pregnant, it's usually because they just figured out the dog was pregnant shelter Why should it be a shelters responsibility? It should be the owners problem.

We have a "no-kill" shelter in the area that is very proud of being no-kill whereas we are the "kill" shelter....

It's cold outside (finally) so the shelters are in need of linens that can be donated for the dogs to lay on so they don't have to lay on the cold floor. Any of the following are great:
