I've seen this in a few places. QB coach is the most important and highest paid position coach in the NFL. Even if OC to QB coach is a slight step down D1 to the NFL is a huge step up.

It's probably a step up, maybe a small one (if doing it for career advancement), maybe a large one (if doing it to reduce travel and go live in the sun).
Would have to be at least comparable in pay.

I found the paper a bit easy, hopefully will scrape an A first time taking. :)

I was wondering about the logistics of D1 sports, football in particular.
Do the athletes get to go home for vacations like Christmas and spring break? Do they stay on campus in the summer to work out? Can they have a real social life?

D1 Commitments 2012-2013 As a place holder sounds like there are a few top players are already committed....the Women's programs appear to be moving earlier as has been the case on the Men's side.

New D1 Programs? I understand UMass is jumping to BCS football next year which I believe adds 20 or so men's scholarships. I know UMass studied women's hockey a few years ago. Any chance UMass makes the jump now? As a current member of men's Hockey East...

I'm a sophomore in high school and my dream is to play college soccer(womens). What does it take to play D1? I know I'm not national team material but I think I can work really hard to improve my game. Im also trying out for the Chicago Fire youth team...

Also, sports can be a really good avenue for getting into a college soccer, they are D1 and part of the Big West conference.
On a team, it's worth doing.
