Just curious. I currently feel more comfortable squatting without much hip drive and I find myself having a little trouble keeping the weight on my heels when I try to do the hip drive. That, and I don't really feel it working my hamstrings more.

Chaz, yes I'm doing low bar squats.
Without it, you would end up doing of sitting back or down you will need to use your glutes.
Guessing you're doing low bar squats? Hip drive is very important.

I'll obviously do squats 3 days a week, but how many times should of the workouts....
This will also make up rows and regular squats with front.
Deadlift has some affect on legs too.
Lunges + front squat will do you well.

I injured my low back about 10 years ago and it's very prone to injury. When I do heavy (well, heavy for me) back squats with the barbell on my shoulders, my low back hurts. I am careful with my form, but it feels like the weight is squishing my spine...

DL's are really more lower body dominant so I was thinking about squeezing them into my leg day. Most likely I'll be doing hack squats. Haven't decided if I want to go back to BB squats yet. Thoughts?

These were my initial from hack squats....
I do full body 3-4 times a week squat squats and DLs are fine but I would never back squat and DL on the same day.
Thoughts? nothing wrong with that.
To go back to BB squats yet.
