To do this, I believe you need to be using Google Apps and have a custom domain setup for Google Apps.

You need to either run a local details and store in the appropriate place on those computers .
That makes it available to your host, but not other people's hosts.

Run a "redirect"....
If it's not too late to change the AD domain name to something else I'd recommend doing so.
You don't want to use the same domain-name internally.
There's no easy solution for what you want.
