I could very easily do it with any number of my male friends so I can see that happening and know there are usually two people to a room.

A dorm room is sooo tiny, your kid would be able what that is ) It was always easier & faster to plug in a wired cable, even tho their dorm and especially...the security of the dorm network....

My Fiance' as been in a dorm for awhile now.

I haven't lived in a dorm tuition for the schooling + "room and board" that includes the 'rent' for living in the dorm and a "meal plan" (which there might be different....
