Hi,
I want to develop an asp.net page through which I can specify the URL of any page which contains links of many files & directories. I want to download them all. Similar to DownThemAll plugin of FireFox.
i.e.
"MyPage.htm" file contains many links to...

I'm trying to mirror a website using wget, but I don't want to download lots of files, so I'm using wget's --reject option to not save all the files. However wget will still download all the files and then remove the file afterwards if it matches my reject...

You might also try HTTrack which has, IMO, more.
Subsites/images/etc and the links on the subsite.

Occasionally when I click a link in my Favorites Bar IE8 will open a file download prompt for the shortcut itself (.url file).
Very annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this? I swear I encounter this at least once a day.

A "solution" to this is to just Ctrl+click the favorites bar links to open that as you trying to ....
That explicitly means "download the file pointed to by this link" not "go to this link clicking a favorites link.

Replace:
echo "<a href=\"$file\">$file</a><br />";
with:
echo "<a href=\"".$path."/".$file."\">$file</a><br />";
The string returned by readdir is the file name not the file path so you have to add the folder path before... .

This is true installer....
It starts off downloading (albeit, slowly), then dies part way through the download.
I finally tried the web platform.
Of the all the download links on the download page (nightly builds, etc).

This was a known for the opera download....
It says service not available.
When you say you cannot download do you mean the links aren't showing as hyperlinks? In Opera but can't download from links that lead to new pages.
