Definitely get the ribs.
The Rendezvous is an institution and pretty much sets the standard for dry-rubbed Memphis style ribs.

Going to be there this weekend for a Bachelor party. Where should I got for the cheap drinks, best strip clubs, and not going to get shot by angry black males. I know nothing of Memphis btw so I'm flying in blind.

For a client wooing dinner, I would look at Bari (Italian), Paulette's (moved into a hotel downtown recently recommend Gus's Fried Chicken ....
If you're boss wants to go the traditional Memphis ribs route.

I have already gotten the hotel downtown.

I would head to anywhere but there.
The Great Smoky there is, at night, downtown is a morgue.
Memphis is at the extreme western end of the state.

I used to ride the MRT Memphis barbecue, it is world famous....
Look for the Memphis Hightailers, they sponsor several rides.
I didn't like it and took a transfer at my first opportunity .
