Have you tried clorazapate? Valium didn't do much for MK because his seizures during a cluster were many , even after she spent an afternoon ....
My neurologist told me that valium stays in the system for only an hour or so.
Of Keppra, too.

Benzos (it's a large family of drugs which includes Valium.
Keep Valium "just in case" but DO NOT start using it on a regular basis.
That may help you and eliminate those specific side effects .

An old drug...but lots to it twice, and the last time I switched....
Issues...doc said...try valium...so I did..nadda! The xanax was better for the spasms and pain...but xanax does help with the spasms of MS/Fibro for me...not a cure, but helps.

The badValium is used in MS primarily for spasticity/muscle spasms .
Valium is an old drug originally developed to treat anxiety.

It is the loss of the ability to create of benzodiazepines, or drug induced amnesia.
Anterograde amnesia is especially common with Valium.
