Personally, I don't remember taking a Valium....
I've had 6 transfers and never been given valium.

Should I take the valium? My doctor prescribed Valium for me. 5 mg in the morning and 5 mg at nights. I'm very worried about being too drowsy, especially at school. Will the Valium make me unusually drowsy?

Keep Valium "just in case" but DO.
Benzos (it's a large family of drugs which includes Valium that may help you and eliminate those specific side effects.
NOT start using it on a regular basis.

Valium is literally one of the most "tested" drugs out there, you have nothing to fear....
If 10mg doesn't work for you, try 20mg.
Valium ( diazepam ) is a VERY safe drug as long as you don't consume alcohol or other sedatives.

An old drug...but lots...I would say ...for some of us..YES....
Issues...doc said...try valium...so I did..nadda! The xanax was better for the spasms and pain...but xanax does help with the spasms of MS/Fibro for me...not a cure, but helps.

The badValium is used in MS primarily for spasticity/muscle spasms .
Valium is an old drug originally developed to treat anxiety.
