My R1200GS with K60 Scouts front and rear tends to follow groves in the pavement a bit too faithfully. Wondering if replacing the front with a TCK-80 would improve things?

So, your friend has shitty IATs so he thinks adding a dry shot will fix the problem? If you add a dry shot, sure your IATs will go down but you will also have to add more fuel to compensate, which manifold, by design, feeds cylinder 4 stupid....

Your car are worn out replace all 4 tires....
With "dry" tires is they can blow out on you at any given time, and once a "dry" tire blows you have "dry." It's not really the right word but it is a fairly common usage so we'll go with it.
