My experience is poor value in Dubai hotels compared to Bangkok . £75 a night won't get you much in Dubai. In Bangkok you will get a good room with breakfast. More to see and do in Bangkok too. Don't make sense to me.

Our hotel was excellent as was the service.
I didn't like Bangkok.
Out of the 2 there is no doubt in my mind that Dubai wins.
The first time we went to Dubai 4 years ago I thought it would be a one off, mainly because compare.

Both for famiies- take a look at the Top Questions for Dubai on the right hand side of the posts page means about whether or not there is a city....
Nights is not too much, although I'd be tempted to split it 3 in Abu Dhabi and 6 in Dubai.
