My experience is poor value in Dubai hotels compared to Bangkok . £75 a night won't get you much in Dubai. In Bangkok you will get a good room with breakfast. More to see and do in Bangkok too. Don't make sense to me.

Planning what to do for winter vacations and hotels are very cheap in both places and air tickets are not that expensive. But is 9 nights (5 in Dubai, 4 in Abu Dhabi) is too much and is it worth it? Is there a city near that should be worth going to? ...

Both for famiies- take a look at the Top....
That you are posting on both forums with the same question and people on the Abu Dhabi forum have9 nights is not too much, although I'd be tempted to split it 3 in Abu Dhabi and 6 in Dubai.

For about a year I've been reading the post at Dubai Forums http://www.dubaiforums.com/ --- it gives a building for Dubai – where else? – and says it's doing another in Moscow and, it hopes, New York.
