I will be spending a three-day weekend in England . I have seen London , Bath , and Stonehenge .
So I was thinking going to Durham, York, and Liverpool.
I will probably drive (from London) on Thursday evening to Durham, and spend Friday there.

To Durham, comapred to nearer 4 hrs to drive; Durham to York about 45 mins by train, about 1.5hrs drviing.
