Just wondering if I tackle this conversion, how I'd get my E21 323i 5sp gearbox to mate up to the originally automatic E34 535i M50 engine.
I take it that the auto models have a different flywheel, so is a manual flywheel the only thing I need to get ...

M50 swaps are old.
I would take a look at the e30 forum.
You'r talking about a 525i engine, not 535i.
