Just had my 2003 Z4's oil changed at the local shop when during their inspection they discovered the plastic tank where you put in coolant was cracked. Apparently some fluid leaked out too because they said they found some residue underneath the tank....

E46 run 188-207°F normal everyday.
Never owned one in my life.

Here is what I did on both and solved the problem...still running... .
Had similar problems as you...with two of my E46 M3's...
I replaced my water pump when I installed the BW radiator and oil .
Is definitely the cooling system though.
Just like the title says, it should fit in my e46 328 no problem, was wondering how much it'd cost with an engine that has say 80k miles max.
