Hello. I recently moved to Nashville, TN from California. I have a NREMT for EMT-B. I would like to work in EMS/FIRE out here. Do I have to advance to EMT-IV to do so?

Medic school is much harder and much more time-consuming than EMT courses.
Stony Brook has a well-respected paramedic program.

Ohio does permit an RN who is an EMT-B to take and in California nursing school might be "better" or more extensive then Paramedic school, there are plenty will cover....
Not challenge the paramedic exam (Ohio uses National Registry).
