looking at maybe changing my career path and going to school to be a EMT/paramedic .right now looking at colleges that offer these classes/certifications and wanting to know is this a good career to try and are jobs readily...

Is there a differene between a emt and paramedic? I have a question I was wondering if there was a differene between a emt and paramedic and if there is a difference can somebody please tell me what the difference is

Just become an EMT-basic level like I did.
Dude you dont need to become a paramedic for PA programs so you dont need to drop out of your terrifice four year college plan to get into PA school.

As we grow so will our ability to assist higher education beyond paramedic.
This would most likely equate to 2 EMT awards and 1 for either Advanced or Paramedic.
For 2-3 scholarships.

Why do EMT's and Paramedics get paid so little? For the amount of hours and time they put into their job, they should be making a fairly decent salary.

Textbooks are still written at an 8th grade level for EMT and 10th grade for Paramedics....
To many, being an EMT or Paramedic is just a hobby most states require for Paramedic training.
Doing something else totally different.

You need to take the paramedic course at an ontario....
To become a paramedic in Alberta it can takeif your wanting to work in ontario, the EMT program will get you nowhere.
Same license, different titles.
And EMT-P is called ACP.
