Because er-/pr- is fairly rare it is not known if it it is any to you with your surgery.
Chemo is if your cancer is invasive.

I didn't need the radiation since I had the mastectomy .
I had a bilateral mastectomy due to there also being DCIS in my for a year .
I also had a ER/PR-, HER2+ tumor.

My wife had er (90%. +) and pr (5%+) and she is on tamoxifen , I have a question -is5% pr+ considered as positive or she becomes ( er+,pr-) her report stats er as strongly positive but pr as weakly positive ( but still positive) I want to understand this...

If so, what does your medical onco say about your tumor? My experience has been a mixed bag...chemo and treated like a triple negative (so says my medical onco), but I'm on antihormonal (although she said there isn't a great liklihood that it will help...

1.3cm tumour was removed in November and scan confirm no spread (halleluia!)
Herceptin has been stopped as it 'didnt work' and no further treatment has been planned...
