Blocked ear from an ear infection? I've got an ear infection at the moment. I'm on antibiotics, but it's not helping with the blocked ear. it's only been a day. is there anything I can try in order to unblock it?

I too have an ear infection as well of toilet roll and try and clear it using that but if you have an infection it may be bast to leave drug store.

Hi ladies,
My 2 year old has an ear infection and was prescribed amoxicillin. I really dont feel comfortable giving that to him, so I was wondering if there was something else I can give him that will help.

I love in-ear buds for various reasons (they block your surroundings, they stay put et cetera) but in my country the conventional wisdom seems to be that:
1) they cause infections in the ear canal, and
2) they push wax into the canal, causing plugs.
