So maybe 7 or so weeks? saw ours that it also depends on the type of twins as to how early they can be seen! We found out at our 6 week scan.
I'm no expert but I'd say as early as you can see a heartbeat.

Yeah 4 is pretty early, I guess they'd see a thickened lining and maybe a sac and remember don't panic if they can't see much yet as it's really early.
That at 4 weeks.

I didn't know how we would go from 2 incomes and one ... .
But after you're done freaking out, just know that it WILL be ok .
Go ahead and freak out like the rest of us did when we found out we were having triplets .
On second thought, dont.
Ok, first relax.

Although I have heard....
I'm sure it's easier to make that mistake when they say it's a girl and it's actually a boy but I would wait 18 weeks .
My doctors predicted a girl at 12 weeks and at 18 weeks it was confirmed that it was not a girl and was a boy .

My OB Scheduled me for an ultrasound for Monday the 20th of this month, and I will be 14 weeks and 1 day. She says they can tell me the gender also?
Has anyone had luck getting an ultrasound that early for gender determination?

It won't be very accurate at this point wait until 22 weeks, I would think that... .
Last time I learned, I definitely wouldn't start buying clothes based on the ultrasound.
Would I rely on it? No.
Is it possible? Yes.
Weeks seems really early.

Where are we heading with MSK ultrasound? Are more physiatrists using it?
What about reimbursement?
Does msk ultrasound exposure during residency help getting into a good msk fellowship?
anybody know which programs have good msk ultrasound training?
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at studentdoctor):
Mayo ultrasound will decline once reimbursement gets hit and will likely live on only in some it and see how much you want to devote to it.
