I'm having my first ultrasound next Monday at 7w2d. Was your first ultrasound a vaginal one or a standard one on your stomach with the jelly?
Not that it matters, just want to know if I have to shave my legs before hand

I would of thought a regular belly ultrasound.
Thanks ladies, I'm glad I asked.
I had both, so be prepared! lol It's probably going to be a vaginal one if you're still that early and it was vaginal.

For the past two days I've been spotting, but nothing too crazy. Very, very, very light (like barely there) and light brown in color. But today, the flow increased a bit and I've had cramps. Like period cramps, not crazy painful cramps. But it worried...

I would try to just relax until your ultrasound and do something that will take your reach a certain point ....
I know its easy to say stressing yourself out and crying is not good for yourself or the baby but its true .
With the ultrasound.

You ladies are lucky to be able to see LO so early! I go for my first OB appointment on 5/11 (which puts me a little over 10 weeks) and then my first u/s (I THINK) will happen probably a week or 2 after that! Just hoping they'll be able to hear the HB...

Your time will be here so soon just too early.
Don't be jealous! In my case (and I know many others) the blood work and early u/s are because others) the blood work and early u/s are because of previous losses.

Early ultrasound possibly showed twins. Have to go in a week later to find out? What is the likely-hood? My merina fell out and pregnancy was confirmed. Ultrasound was to make sure the I.u.d. was gone. Scared as hell cuz my hubby has no clue I'm pregnant...

So I hit 12 weeks tomorrow and I'm super anxious for my next u/s which won't be until 20 weeks. I keep hearing that a lot of women wait until 20 weeks to do a 3D ultrasound but some of the girls here in town did theirs around 15 or 16 weeks. I want to...

I didn't get one, I keep hearing from all my friends that they didn't like the results and even the doctors where I was being treated at didn't recommend it but said if you really want to do do it after 30weeks because that's when it's best? I think it... .

Your first ultrasound is the most reliable because babies grow at different rates. Later ones can be as much as a week off. But nothing would be so off that it would fill in the difference between October 20 and November 23. This is especially true with...

Wrong with having an early ultrasound to find out the sex, but we all won't know 100% until the baby the NT ultrasound at 13 weeks and I do not want a gender guess.
