I had a friend whose ear looked awful because she tugged at the piercing that were done when she was a baby.
I wouldn't want the hole to get tugged on and ripped out .

Yup, we had our dd's ears pierced when she was about 6 months old.

People can say it doesn't hurt them etc on their ears.....
I wasn't allowed to get my ears pierced until I was 10, so I would wait before allowing DS with pierced ears, they are so perfect just the way they are.

It doesn't hurt to get them pierced and ....
They are trying to use needles more now as they are better if you like them, I don't know what hurts more, as I've never had my ears pierced.

Staying at a friends house. She just got her ... 1 year olds ears pierced. I think it's 1 anyway, it can kind of walk but can't really talk, just points at stuff and makes nonsense words. I think thats about 1?

At what age do you think it's ok for a girl to have her ears pierced? My fiance says 13 years, I say there is nothing wrong with piercing her ears at 3 months. I was 6 years old, my sister wasn't allowd til she was 16, and my fiance's sister wasn't allowd...

All 3 of my girls had their ears pierced at 6 months old.
My niece LOVES having her ears pierced, she's 7 now, but she used to hate etc.
It's not allowed til 3 months.

Amazingly I've gone through 31 years without ever having my ears pierced. However, I've decided I may as well get it done now....the fact that I'm getting married later in the year might have something to do with it. So any advice for a first timer?

You are in no way a bad mother for wanting your babies ears pierced just ignore all of the ignorant ears pierced when I was 13 and I wished SO much that I'd had them done as a kid before I could people see getting your ....
