Having an EBay Store supports BIN listings with cheaper insertion fees but has no benefit for auction listings and by having a store you lose the 30 free listings per month aswell.
I have had a store previously and I found auctions to be better for me...

They are discovering the people never even make an offer! In a eBay store, you can always price an item higher than the minimum in a store....
Ebay is pushing everyone towards Stores and Buy It Now.

I've noticed a handful of eBay stores for sale where a listing is created offering all the items in a seller's store. They say all the stuff is "worth" (well listed for) a certain amount, and have a BIN for about 50% of the total for what all the items...

I came across one of the big ebay sellers doing this the ....
Instead, they seem to be using this listing as a ploy to draw attention to their store.
The few that I've seen don't seem sincere about actually selling their entire store.

Buy it Now format Items with no UPC have no traffic/visibility and are sleeping in the bottom of the barrel last pages in Best Match, with no chance to be sold, and it is gonna be worst with all those new eBay requirements.
We need sales to get the money...

From a cost and management perspective, you would be better off doing it all as one ebay store to think of a shop name to reflect the items you are selling.
